Our General Manager

Recep Ali ERDOGAN was born on 01.07.1980 in Istanbul. He is originally from Güneysu, Rize. He completed his undergraduate education in Public Administration and his Graduate education in Business Administration.

He began his professional career in 2003 at the Technology Development Department of KOSGEB Istanbul Boğaziçi University. He has held the positions of Director at the KOSGEB Legal Affairs Directorate and the In-Service Training Directorate. He served as the Head of the KOSGEB Human Resources Department, where he was appointed in 2014, until 2016. Between 2016 and 2017, he worked as the Head of the KOSGEB SME Finance Department Dec. Between 2017 and 2023, he held the position of Vice President of KOSGEB Dec. During his duty as Vice President, he managed the restructuring work of KOSGEB and the commissioning of the new organizational structure was successfully completed. In this period, extensive work was carried out on developing models and regulations aimed at SME-Based Economic Development . Within the scope of these studies, the legislations of important studies such as Techno-construction and Strategic Product Support Programs have been completed and put into operation for the strategies of increasing the country's value-added production and technology level and reducing imports.

In addition to being a member of many internal and external boards and commissions during his duties as Head of Department and Vice President at KOSGEB, he has also taken an active role in various non-governmental organizations.

Recep Ali ERDOGAN is married and has two children. He was appointed General Manager of Aselsannet on 18.09.2023. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF), which he established to facilitate SMEs' access to finance.
