ASELSANNET General Manager Erdoğan: Our defense industry has achieved great successes under the leadership of our President

ASELSANNET, a subsidiary of ASELSAN, operating in the fields of communication, security systems, and information technologies in Turkey, celebrated its 19th anniversary with a ceremony.

The ceremony, held at ASELSANNET’s headquarters in Ankara, was attended by ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol, Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Yaman, ASELSANNET General Manager Recep Ali Erdoğan, and company employees. The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a screening of a promotional film prepared for ASELSANNET's 19th anniversary.

ERDOĞAN: OUR COMPANY WILL MOVE FORWARD WITH MORE CONFIDENCE INTO THE FUTURE

In his opening speech, ASELSANNET General Manager Recep Ali Erdoğan stated that the defense industry has achieved great successes under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the entire defense industry ecosystem through successful visions and also thanked the Defense Industry Presidency and ASELSAN management for their support. Erdoğan continued:

“Our previous ASELSAN General Manager, now serving as the President of the Defense Industry, esteemed Haluk Hoca, could not join us today as he is attending a program with our President in Istanbul. I also thank him for his support to our company and the entire process. Besides, our esteemed General Manager honored us by being here today. I also had the opportunity to visit all the deputy general managers of ASELSAN. Their perspective is that ‘ASELSANNET is our child, our precious; its troubles are our troubles, its sadness is our sadness.’ Therefore, I must say that I have felt their support very positively over the past two and a half months. Additionally, with our recent appointment, our Board of Directors was reconstituted. Esteemed friends and elders within ASELSAN, who possess technical knowledge and equipment relevant to all our processes, are with us. With their presence, our company will move forward into the future with more confidence. It is our duty to work day and night successfully and serve this sacred field.”

YAMAN: WE WILL BRING OUR COMPANIES TO MUCH BETTER PLACES

In his speech, Chairman of the Board Mustafa Yaman emphasized that ASELSANNET, a very important subsidiary of ASELSAN, has the biggest share in the successes achieved. Yaman stated, “I have full confidence that, united, we will bring both ASELSANNET and ASELSAN to much better places.”

AKYOL: WE HAVE ACHIEVED SIGNIFICANT NATIONALIZATION

ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol highlighted that the development and growth of the defense industry have increased significantly under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan over the past 20 years. He expressed that they have achieved significant nationalization and stated that they aim to produce products that will rank in the top three in the world in the Century of Turkey. Akyol also noted that they have included export-focused growth in their main company strategies and that ASELSAN, which does what others in the world do not and exports these, will continue to work tirelessly in the coming period.

A SPECIAL CAKE CUTTING FOR THE 19TH ANNIVERSARY

The ceremony concluded with a cake cutting and a group photo to commemorate ASELSANNET’s 19th anniversary. ASELSANNET, producing local and national projects in communication, security systems, and information technologies with the experience of ASELSAN, a symbol of national engineering and technique, celebrated this milestone event.
